How do I post a message (shout)?
Login to your account, then just type your message into the text box at the top of your home page and click 'Shout'.
Message Posting Features:
* Typing @NameOfTheUser into the text box will add a link to the user.
* Adding the hashtag preface to a word #example will add a clickable and searchable tag to your post.
* Add a photo or hyperlink by clicking on the links below the text input box.
* Share your location by clicking the 'location' link and entering your address.
What is the difference between a subscription and a subscriber?
If someone wants to follow your posts they can do so by subscribing to your messages. They then become one of your subscribers. If you want to follow messages (shouts) from your friends or other users, you can subscribe to them as well.
What the Friend Designation?
Friends are those users which are subscribed mutually.
What is a Private Profile?
You have the option of setting your profile to private. Private profiles allow members to block access to their posts (shouts) for everyone, except their chosen contacts. In this way, conversation can then be limited to a select group of friends, family, or fellow community members.
